No, I do not think so. But it would definitely send a signal to the government that people have been gradually getting disappointed as well as aggrieved by the increasing corruption among people occupying the top most positions in the government. If it is not checked immediately, the evil forces that want to disrupt the peace and harmony in the country may take advantage of it and may instigate people to resort to violence. So it is now high time for the government to be careful.

May be the new party would be in a position to get majority after 10/15 years, and so the major national parties would be more careful and work towards people's benefit.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am not against either of them but i would like to say that even if our present Govt is upstaged because of Kejriwal then we cannot expect any thing better from other ruling parties also. Besides change cannot occur in a single day. i know our present govt might be aware of the increasing unrest among the people and hence they are slowly taking steps in the welfare of the people. It now all ends at the people and what they feel about this.
What say?

Even our government is aware of increasing unrest but still no visible control on corruption and inflation is being seen rather cost of every product is doubling fast with almost negligible control on corruption........
I believe present government is either sleeping or ignorant of her responsibility ........
Hope it will wake up some day .......

Considering the state of affairs in our country at present, it looks difficult to happen. What could happen is Arvind Kejriwal's party winning some Lok Sabha seats in next elections, and making difference to the working of parliament. Whether that will make a substantial difference is difficult to say, but a start would still be worthwhile.

May be you are I right but I believe that people this time are really very angry with ultra corrupt ways of governance followed by Indian government and ever rising inflation ..........
Definelty we will see big change in which congress and BJP would be dumped like waste for long unless public think to recyle it after decades ...........

I'm not Indian, so I don't know what's going on with your politics; but I suppose it will depend on whether or not the corruption accusations he has levied against the graft-tainted Congress government and some of India's most powerful people turns out to be true, and whether or not the people of India are happy with a corrupt government should it turn out to be true. Nowadays, it seems if the people can get stuff from the government, they don't care if it's corrupt or not until the corruption affects them negatively.

The problem in India is that all the political parties here are so corrupted that we cannot expect anything better by changing a government. Mass movement on a large scale is needed to compel the politicians to move in the right track and that movement should never be in the hands of a political party, it would have to be a real mass movement organized by the mass for the mass. It may not successful or may not topple even a corrupt government but it would definitely teach the politicians a lesson that they are sent to the parliament by the mass for working in the interest of the mass.If they are reluctant in doing so or are busy in personal interests, they should better quit politics, they have not the right to represent the mass in the parliament. It is now high time to make them realize this simple truth.
