I have been suffering from migraine from all my life and it is such annoying head ache. Other head aches are equal to nothing if you compare them to Migraine. It makes me cry some times. Most often I feel the pain in the left area in the head just above my left eye brow. Most of the time I have to sit in the office and work for hours. This causes constipation and air block in the intestine. Thus causing pressure on the cranial nerve in the abdominal region. To cure it I use any medication that corrects the prestalic movement in the intestine e.g. Dompridone, and some herbal medication prescribed by the doctor. It takes time to heal. Some physical exercises also helps in releasing pressure from the intestine which ultimately reduces the head aches. Hanging down from a bar also relaxes the muscles in the abdomen and results in reduction in head ache. Moreover, sitting and extending your legs forward and then touching the toes also release the tension off the abdomen. I have also learned a youga position that has also proven a lot helpful in this case. It is known as the stance (Position) of Lizard. Laying on your belly and try to pic your head and support your front end and raise and put your elbows on the ground and thus makes your body position like a lizard. Staying like that then again relaxing on your head side ways. Good luck with your head ache. Aforementioned techniques helps me get rid of mine but you must consult a doctor for any advice on exercise or any movement.

Want to add one more thing: If I some how go to sleep for at least an hour, when I get up most of my migraine head ache is gone but as I said earlier it is the most painful head ache of all therefore it is difficult to go to sleep in this condition.

I get frequent headaches. The worst part is always trying to figure out the cause of the headache because I get sinus headaches, tension headaches, and migraine headaches. Allergies or a cold can cause me to get really bad sinus headaches. Sinus headaches can make it literally feel like me head is so heavy that I cannot even hold it up. It is awful. For these type of headaches, it takes a combination of Allegra, Nasonex, and sinus hot pack generally to relieve the pressure. The worse part is that the sinus pack broke, and I have not been able to find a replacement. In addition, it really hard to sleep when I have a sinus headache because of the pain gets worse when lying flat. Tension headaches are probably my next worse enemy. I tend to get easily stressed. This is really not good. The tension will make my neck and jaw tight with me also getting a headache. It totally is awful because many times it is like until I can destress I remain tense which makes it very difficult to get rid of a tension headache. It is really hard to relax and sleep when I have a tension headache. It is partially because of the pain in my jaw and face from the tension. Partly because I cannot relax to fall asleep. I have found that increasing b vitamins does seem to help some to help me cope some with the stress. Migraines are terrible too! It is like all I can do is to sit in the dark and do something quite. Sometimes that is working on my laptop in the dark. Other times it so awful I just have to go lay down in the dark. The worst part is that when I get a migraine I am very sensitive to noise. From the beeping of the cell phone saying I have text message, to the noise of the parking lot, children playing, or the noise of the upstairs neighbors it seems nearly unbearable. There was one day that I had a migraine, and with the noise from the upstairs neighbors felt like elephants walking on my head. The only thing that seems to work for a migraine is prescription strength Excedrin. The bad part is that if I take it there is no way that I am going to fall asleep for about 4 - 6 hours; although, it does generally help alleviate the pain.
