Meeting with quarrel!

For a little over six months, I am a member of a voluntary association called ADOV Association (donor of the voice). I've never worked for them in the creation of digital audiobooks or books for dyslexic children. Today, however, there was a meeting where the members were called upon to analyze the "agenda", and also to elect the president. The meeting lasted from 10.00 to 13.00 The thing that made ??me sad was that during this meeting there was a verbal argument between two women, both members of the association. All for a sentence ... too. One of them says: "I'm tired of unemployment" (in the sense that she was retired and therefore had plenty of free time), the other woman took it as an offense and shouted insults against. Perhaps the fact that the latter, on the contrary had once occupied by her work! Drawing its conclusions, seeing certain scenes from "sideshows," I almost want to leave the ADOV. Then I, what I should say that, compared to the two women who have fought, I am in a job position lag even further behind? (in fact I'm unemployed). I need to meditate on. Maybe I remain an honorary member, but hardly, I will work for them for free!

Voice of Frustration is what it seems. The President in the next meeting should address the corumm to be thankful that they have now association that could create abundance of opportunity to create jobs and financial securities for the association and the children. The members must have the focus of why they are there, it is not for gaining attention seems most members are in the same boat. Dont leave, start creating events and get sponsors and make sure that the cheques are signed by more than two persons before it dissapears. All the best.

Well, I apologize if I was not very clear in my question, but I want to emphasize that we are not talking at all nor work, nor to make any money. ADOV Association is a non-profit organization where there are only volunteers, and I (at least until now), I'm one of those. Of course the President must have its own charisma, his respect, if not, happen accidents like yesterday.

I understand that it is not a profit making organization but to lenghten the association life the association need to generate income.Volunteers need money to travel to and fro for the meetings. Get those who are vocal to make phone calls for sponsorship. In order to get sponsorship easily is to create an event like dinner show by calling popular artist to perform then sell the tables to the sponsors. Big companies normally be happy to sponsor rather than paying tax, you can also invite VIPs or head of political parties to launch the product the associations has and call the media for coverage they love media coverage as a free promotion.

Ah, yes, well now I perfectly understood what you were doing reference. In fact, the revenue derived from the higher annual fee that we members pay. There are other revenue as offerings supporters etc.. Unfortunately, the budget in recent years, it has never even been in balance!

Well, what I know is, a meeting should have a moderator or presiding officer who should steer the course of events in that meeting. Those women were out of order and the presiding officer should have ended that unruly discussion.

Well yes, in fact, after that happened, that ridiculous episode, the moderator called Rocco, decided to go on immediately to vote for President, in order to prevent just such an event could happen again. But in my opinion, in a serious association, such buffoonery should not happen!
