When it comes to buildings and architectural structures, I like taking night shots. The contrast between the dark sky and glowing sources of light produces great photographs. With just an ordinary digital camera, I'm already capturing nice images of night life all around me. Anyway, one of these days, I'll have my first DSLR camera and I will take more awesome photos of night landscapes and architecture.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am glad to hear about your passion for photography and especially u like taking snaps of the night landscapes and architecture. Even i feel the same that the snaps taken during each time of a day are different from each other, while you love to take snaps at night i prefer taking snaps in the day and also at night if it is very fascinating to me. Besides some night landscapes and architectures are best captured on camera and that is what u have been doing. All the best! What say?

I forgot to post the image of my night shot. It's the Cebu Cathedral. It was within walking distance from the port of Cebu so after my arrival from a recent trip, I passed by and was impressed by what I saw.

I have also tried taking day shots around the City of Cebu and i also included the Cebu Cathedral, i totally agree, the lights around the cathedral is spectacular and awesome, i only use the ordinary Canon digital camera...could not afford DSLR yet.
