AS the others have said, you probably did not fit the qualifications of what they were looking for or there was something on your application that maybe made them think twice. Who knows? It happens a lot. With all the people looking for jobs these days, bosses can afford to be fussy. I listen to my bosses reasons for not even giving interviews to certain applicants and there are a lot of things on those applications that raise red flags for bosses. Job history is one and reasons for leaving is another. It could be any number of things and you aren't alone in this. I would just keep trying. At least they took the time to inform you...many companies do not.

There are some companies that have high standards when it comes to hiring people for their man power. Cheer-up because you’re not the only one who has experience being rejected on the job you were applying, I think it’s an experience you really get when you are job seeking. That did not only happened to you but to some people here including me, before when I had no job, I was applying to different companies and some of them did decline my application, what I did is I search for more careers that suits my skills, and my interests so that when you are up for an interview you can answer and let the interviewer be impress on what you can offer for them. Good luck!

i think no people apply to the job that doesn't suit on your skills and experienced,of course when applying a job u need to have a look first, read what kind of position they are looking for and if you have the ability to do it before you take an action.you can't just apply immidiately that job if you don't have any knowlegde of it.,but hopefully one of the companies id been applying for will get in touch with me soon...have a nice day

I know its because they haven't found a suitable person yet, so they keep in view all the others applicant. But dont apply again to that same company, you may lose your reputation, go and try other companies, you will find one that succeed.

Sometimes I think companies are neglectful of not taking down job postings. It happens all the time, they post the job and just forget to take the posting down. Keep applying though, eventually you will get something. What irritates me most about applying for a position the company will ask "have you applied to this company before?" There are often several qualified people applying, but not everyone gets called. I think a more appropriate question would be "have you interviewed with this company before." Makes more sense to me.

You always have to have a back up plan. Do not count on just one application, pass your resume to all the available companies so you'll have more chances of landing yourself a job. Also, your resume might be in need of revision, highlights your strengths and list all your achievements from the latest one. Dont lose hope, everything will soon turn out okay. Good luck!

When we apply for a job, expect that this kind of things might happen. It is just normal. But don't lose hope because sooner, you will be able to find the right job for you. Keep on applying for new jobs until you find the best one. Good luck and have a nice day!
