Long distance Relationships

My Bf and I are in a long distance relationship for more than a year now, and we just communicate like 5 days or less in a month. Crazy! isn't it? But we are both in love and going strong notwithstanding our distance. After all, we believe that true love waits and sacrifice. Yes! it takes a lot of patience, understanding and faith to survive this painful yet exciting love affair. Painful, because it's the sweetest pain you would taste and of course exciting because you should do everything that would keep the fire burning. Good luck to all those who are involved and be faithful!

Wow, that is certainly difficult but for as long as your love for each other is strong, then no matter how far and no matter what the circumstances are, your relationship will surely endure. True indeed, when you love someone, you will there is also sacrifice and the most important of all is trust for each other especially in a situation where you don't often see each other. Good luck to both you and I look forward to seeing both you together later on as you walk the aisle and say I DO!

I got teary eyed with your message Sir, thanks anyway! Often times I hear a lot of stories about the downsides of being far from your partner most of the time and I tend to pretend that I am very contented and genuinely happy with my situation but it bothers me the moment I hit the sack. I think prayer helps me to become tough and overcome those fears. After all, I still believe that there is reason for everything. :)

Thank you for that! and the most essential part in order for a relationship to survive is by praying and strengthening its faith. He will be home in February, and I am looking forward to spend my time with him. I am also excited that we will be officially engaged and get married the soonest. So I am telling to those who are naive that long distance relationship rocks!

Me and my bf are in a long distance relationship for 2 years and 8 months. Yep, that long and he hasn't come home yet since he left. but, the thing that keeps our relationship still super strong is the communication. We talk everyday and we never let a day pass that we can't talk or chat with each other despite the time difference and the busy schedule. We also trust is other which is a very important matter for this kind of relationship.

Hi mauie08, Good for both of you that a long distance relationship can work out so well. For some people the absence of being physically near one another is very hard to bear. As a result they will slowly drift apart. However nowdays with easy communication and travel it will not be so hard to get together every so often to strengthen that bond and maintain that relationship. Have a good day.

Well, I am happy that despite the distance you see the more positive things in life than be feeling sorry, scared and uncomfortable being distant from your partner. It takes a lot of patience and understanding. And believe me, it will all be worth it when the right time to finally be together comes. I pray for your lasting relationship.
