The new operating system from Microsoft is out, which is Windows 8. I saw that it is available at all retail stores, and the price is around $99 or above. I heard about this operating system is great for touch screen system, but it won't be compatible to the older system if you installed the old application on it. So, does anyone have a chance to get one themselves and test it out? I don't think it will be suitable for all the system, what do you say if install the Oracle Virtualbox to test it, instead of install the Windows 8 directly to your computer system?

hi, i still never had a test this new Windows 8,but i think like Windows 7 it needs a higher specs of a computer to run it,and most of the operating system i have seen here usually used Windos XP because its more friendly user rather than others.

i tried the consumer preview of the windows 8 os in reality it sounds quite new in relation to microsoft os and so it is not so traditional as we can expect from the first time..anyway it is natural this os enables multitouch gestures and so you can use it completely having a device with those hardware i think even a multitouch trackpad can be ok from this point of view...as regards the os in itself it is faster than traditional windows and enables many apps how many just for multiotuch features i don't know...may be before buying this os you can download and try a demo to understand if it is for you or not!!
