Since have the colonoscopy I have really sore and painful cancor sores in my mouth in several spots.
I use Listerine right now but doesnt seem to be doing anything. I usually get this after a procedure whether its from the oxygen or what they knock me out with.

I used to get them from time to time when I was younger and my mother would always have this red stuff that she would put on them. It burned like the dickens, but it sure did take away the pain and it was also something that would help them heal a lot quicker than they would have anyway. But, I know that they took that off the market because it was found to cause cancer.
Since then, we haven't been able to find anything that works really well with canker sores. We end up just letting them heal on their own.

I think this is due to having a low immune system, Ricki. I think these are caused by the Heroes 1 virus. We all have it in us if we have ever had a cold sore. It makes a sore on or in our mouth when we are under some sort if stress. I had mine over a month, but now it's gone. It will heal in a few days or weeks. Try not to irritate it by eating foods that will cause more trauma to the sores. You might ask your pharmacist what would be good for it.

I don't know if this is available in your country. But here in my country they are sold as over the counter treatment, it is called "cancer sore drops" basically its an effective treatment for cancor sores it has a stingy effect painful but really effective.
