I just came to bed right now and my husband wasn't wearing his finger splint that he wears to protect his drained finger; that's why I say he's not wearing his protection in bed! In case you've never experienced it, when you get a sprained finger you need to wear a finger brace or splint to immobilize the finger for protection from further injury and to aid in faster healing. They are also used for people that play sports, as injuries are often more likely to happen during physical activity. Anyways I came to bed and he wasn't wearing it so I got it from his nightstand and put it back on his finger. It would have been awful if he would have sprained it further during his sleep or rolled over onto it. I don't know what he was thinking. Have a great night and happy myLotting!!!

ROFL this discussion totally didn't go where I thought it was going at first. But, I do know what you mean about wearing your splints when you've experienced a sprain or a break. Me, I broke my ankle when I was eight years old and though I had to have a cast on it for many months, I still had to wear a brace on my ankle for another nine months after my cast was removed. Yes, it was ackward and yes, it wasn't attractive, but I could have ended up permanently disabled if I hadn't worn the brace.

I started laughing when I read the first sentence! I don't blame you for wanting your hubby's finger to heal properly and I would have probably done the same thing that you did. Nothing is worse than something not healing right and then either having to have surgery on it or have it never working properly again.
