Indeed the feeling is different when you are using an air condition in a room when sleeping, hence, the feeling is really refresh. Unlike if you are just using a fan, the feeling is quite hot and sweating. And, I am really thankful that we able to sleep today using an air condition. This is because our visitor cannot cope up with the humid weather in our country, so we have decided to use the air condition unit to give her a fresh vacation even for a couple of days. How I wish, that we have always a guest so we can use again the air condition while sleeping. The feeling is really fresh and comfortable.

Haha this is cute , you tell your visitor to extend their stay. Sleep can't be bought, we need a cold ,cool place to have it. Aircon is the answer. Yes why not have it ? when in food we spent big , for vanity also big then why not include the sleeping needs .We are working so hard , therefore we need to love and pamper ourselves also.Great day friend !

i just wish that a visitor will come again around summer time so we are opening again the A/C.
you have a point but the electricity charges so big as the adjustments on the energy consumption is quite big.

I don't like much of the air condition specially sleeping, I like fresh air, so I always leave my windows open. I don't even like fans. Oh well to each is its own. Just hope you have guest again so you can have good night time sleep.

That's right! I would be having sleepless nights during summer if the A/C would be not functioning. My kids would be sick after a day or two because they would be so sweaty in bed.
It may be a little expensive to be using it everyday. But I'd rather pay that much than let my kids get sick.

Hi friend, i agree with you, i am also a great fan of AC and don't have the ability to get peaceful sleep with out AC. Sad to hear that you are missing AC while sleeping, it is really hard for me to sleep without AC, some times i am in need to stay out side for my business purpose, at that time i am trying my maximum to book AC rooms and search for AC places, if i don't get AC place, i will have a restless night.

I hate sleeping under a/c. When I lived in usa, in las vegas we had to have a/c on 24 hours a day there. I hated sleeping with it on. BUt was so darn hot we didnt have a choice.

we are exactly opposite since i loved to sleep with A/C on. though i am also used to sleep without it since we are trained to use fans. aside from that, we do not have a big budge to use the A/C every day. hence, it is only now that we are using it because of our guess.

I don't really like having the air conditioning on when I sleep. I prefer fans to a/c. However, when we were in Florida we didn't have ceiling fans, and we had to use air conditioning.
Here, we don't have air conditioning in this place. Depending on how hot next summer gets, we may need to put it in, though.
However, right now, we are heading into winter. This is the time for snow and ice, not heat and humidity. We've had the heat on for the past couple of months, and it has now gotten so cold that I usually end up wearing a couple of layers even when I am inside. It's either that or crank up the heat, and, if I do that, it will drive up our electric bill even higher.
If we owned our own place, I would likely have a wood cook stove in addition to the electric one, and I would install solar--maybe standalone, maybe grid-tied. However, this is a rental, so we do have some constraints on what we can do to the place.

There are times that I prefer the fan over the A/C, and vice versa. But whenever my husband is here during his RnR, the A/C is on most of the time. I think he's not quite used to being in the tropics just yet, and he in turn teases me that I should start getting used to brutally cold weather for our trip soon. I do admit that sleeping in an A/C run room puts me in better sleep maybe because I can't hear the tv from downstairs plus it is really cold and all I want to do is curl up in the bed and throw over those comforters.

Using aircond when weather is to hot especially evening is good because at my country the temperature here around 30°c. I dont like using aircond at night because it is very cold and i cannot sleep better if too cold. I will not using aircond when it's raining because it's very cold. At my house i dont have aircond. We using fan. I using aircond when i visit at my older brother house.
