Can't fall asleep

There have been times that I can't fall asleep. I think that this mainly happens when I have a lot going on or a lot on my mind. But it is not like a every night thing or anything like that.

I experience this every day - I have suffered from this for years. I suppose it does not help that I am a shift worker. I can go to sleep as normal, wake up a few hours later and then be awake for the rest of the night. The only good thing about waking up in the middle of the night is that I usually then go online and talk to friends in different parts of the World, that the differing timezones would usually cause a problem. Insomnia is a massive problem around the World, we all suffer from it at some point in our lives

If I am too tired I am not able to sleep either pity enough. It's not that I have many thoughts or soo.. it's just being too tired. Sooner or later I can again (after some days) but it's a good sign to do less at day time.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation and i know how it feels like when u are extremely tired and still u do not get sleep. Even i had faced this traumatic situation many times before. I think rather than getting panicked for this we should rather consult a doctor and more importantly keep stress pressure and tensions at bay. We should stay cheerful all the time and our diet should be balanced and healthy most of the time. What say?

I get that way here many times. Even after working 14-15 hrs. I feel tired. i go to bed , and cant go to sleep.
