Do you take a chance?

Our lottery is grown to it's largest amount ever. Do you buy a ticket? If you do, how do you pick the numbers? Do you believe in fate? If you are meant to win you will? Or do you gamble? I am tempted, I would let the machine choose my number, I feel if I am going to win then everything will fall in place. It's a chance, but I don't really feel I'll win.

Hubby is in a group that buys lotto tickets at work. Ironically a ticket that won a million dollars was drawn in the city they work in. I had my fingers crossed that one of the co-workers who picked up the tickets that week has purchased them there. However, that didn't pan out... but that was so close. Outside of the lotto pool at work we don't participate too much. Though hubby has a motto if you don't play you can't win either. As we spend money on things that are gone in an instant like coffee, eating out ect, so what's the difference if you spend a buck on a lotto ticket or a $5 coffee?

When a lottery like the PowerBall get to be a half billion dollars I do play. What I mainly do is buy one quick pick and one I pick the numbers on. Look, it is a real long shot to win, but like they say, you have to be in it to win it.

I seldom buy lottery. In the past I bought it according to my birthday date or the numbers that were meaningful for me. Later I just let the machine selected the numbers for me. But I haven't bought it for quite a long time since I heard some negative news about it. It doesn't matter that I couldn't win it since the possibility is so low. But I want it to be fair and open.

I bought a lottery ticket once, and forgot about about it. I've never bought one since, because I dream of other things. There are many dreams that don't include lottery wins. Life should be about winning at everything, everyday, and when life gets that good, you won't need to win a lottery!

Honestly, there is no way that I won't be buying a ticket for the lottery drawing this evening. The reason, someone is going to win and I might as well throw my hat into the ring. Do I really think that I will win? Honestly, I don't think that I'm going to win, but it sure would be nice if I did have the opportunity to win. That said, I do enjoy some forms of gambling from time to time, but I will never be the person that will gamble if I don't have the money that I would be able to lose.

If you feel you have no luck then you better stop before you get addicted. My father has been and addict to this, chasing out his luck with lottery since I was a kid, till now he did not win anything. I think if he will win, it might be almost the same amount he had spent for this.

The chances of winning in any game of chance is slim. Maybe one in a zillion. But if the prize money is attractive I am tempted to join in the fray and queue to join the long line of hopefuls to invest my one dollar hoping for lady luck to smile on me. So many people have become instant millionaires by just betting a dollar in lottery. So I thought one dollar is not too much a money to gamble for a chance to be the next millionaire. I believe that everyone has the chance to win provided the roulette wheels picked your winning number.

I play occasionally but only buy 1 ticket--if I can't win with one, I won't win with 100 tickets! I always let the machine choose my number, too. I'd love to win, I would fix up my house then donate to the Salvation Army or the local college so I could move back west to be with my sons. I'd leave a million behind for various local charities here. I'd set up foundations to help abused children and animals, there are so many wonderful things I could do with wealth like that!

I am tempted by the lottery, but I haven't played in a long while--not since before my boyfriend and I got involved, I believe. He really isn't fond of lotteries; he is right, of course. The odds of winning a major jackpot are such that it really is wasted money; it would be better to put the money into a savings account, CD or the stock market than to gamble it away in the lottery. Of course, it can be fun to dream...

I've never played lottery by picking numbers but I do buy scratch offs every once in a while. Although I think the last time was at least a year ago, there's too many other things you can buy with a dollar lol.
