Good morning people here. Feeling better now. We already had our codename for our kris kringle / monito monita here at the office for our Christmas party which we always do every year. This time, we don't have the something something like something long, smooth, short etc every week, instead just one gifts for our baby during our Christmas party. Our codename is different this time around. Not the usual names like cartoons, anime, movie or tv characters or celebrities. This time, our codename are Christmas songs which we have to sing during revelation on Christmas party.I think, we better practice our codename now so it would be nice during the revelation day.Good luck to me. Do you have this exchange gift things ( kris kringle/monito monita) in your work too?

When I was working, some of the places that I worked did a Christmas exchange and other places didn't. Of those ones that did a Christmas exchange, there were different ways in which they were done. One of the places did a simple Secret Santa exchange where you drew a person's name and bought a gift for that person without their knowing who the gift was from. Another did a white elephant exchange where you had the choice between opening a gift that hadn't already been opened or you could steal a gift from another person.

Last year we did the same, we had codes names so we won't be able to know the ones we will give our gifts too. But we had to write down our wishlist on our bulletin board so the ones that got our names will know what to give since they don't know whom exactly did they got. I am not sure if we will have the same this year since we haven't started picking names yet.

We used to have codename all the time but usually it is names of cartoon characters, artist or celebrities, characters in TV shows or movies so this time around is really different from the usually.Quite exciting and nervous since we have to sing the codename of our baby during the revelation day.

Yep, Christmastime is here once again. For this year we haven’t planned it in our office yet. But for the past years, even way back in grade school, it has always been a tradition to have a Christmas program and exchange gifts. Though what we usually do is to write each name on a piece of paper. Then each would draw a piece of those paper. The name written on that paper would be the person you would be giving a gift to. Just to ensure “fairness”, there is a minimum amount of the gift that has to be given. (This may not be necessary, but it’s kinda frustrating if you gave an expensive gift and you received a cheap one. Yes, it’s not supposed to be this way but it happens). It’s supposed to be a secret, so nobody knows who you picked, and you won’t know who got your name until the gist is handed to you. Anyway, your idea of using codenames is great. Much greater that you have to sing it during when you receive your gift.

Yeah quite cute and exciting especially the singing part during the revelation. So I better practice mine, but good thing that it is a song that its not that hard and has easy melody to sing with.
