English grammar. Available to or for?

Recently, I got this doubt whether to use to or for after writing the word available. For example, There are many jobs available for women or available to women? Which is the correct form of sentence. I saw an article stating that available to is correct because available preceded a person. In short, available for -PURPOSE Available to = person Please correct if I am wrong.

I believe you are right in that explanation. It seems to be widely misused among the American speaking population.
