Bring me to life

Somehow I don't like their latest album (What You Want), but most songs from "The Open Door" album is really great and i love it so much...

I like "My Immortal and Bring me to Life." I am familiar with these songs. I haven't heard the other songs yet. I like their voice. Happy mylotting.

I am also a fan of Evanescence and i really like all their songs. I do also wonder where they are at right now, i have not heard them for awhile now.

I also like evanescence a lot.she is very nice and her voice quality is amazing.she released her album with her own name as title last year but i like her album "fallen" more as compared to this album.I think she is the best female singer out there for Rock/electric genre.her songs are heart touching and awesome.

I love Evanescence! Their early stuff more than their new stuff, especially Fallen. That album is amazing. My favourite songs have to be Hello, Haunted, Whisper, Listen To The Rain and Everybodys Fool. I don't really listen to their new stuff, I feel they changed too much for my liking. I love all of their songs. The two that really stand out in my mind are bring me to life and my immortal. I especially like the rock version of my immortal.

Oh, I do enjoy them as well. One of their songs was featured in a recent episode of Dancing with the Stars here in the U.S..

I have all three albums and they are all good. However, the third had to grow on me a little. As far as I know they are still together. You can go to the band's website and check it out to find out more. I browsed through it and didn't see any indication that they have broken up or anything like that. They aren't one of those bands that churns out albums every year, whether that's good or bad. So I would assume they are still writing music or planning to and will probably release something new when they are ready. Anyway, as far as their music goes, the first album is definitely the hardest of the three. But The Open Door is an awesome album. It's a little toned down compared to the hard heavy metal sound of Fallen but the music still has a hard rock sound yet is uniquely Evanescence. You should check it out if you haven't already because your missing a really good album.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand how it feels like when u get to hear the songs of your favorite singer or album. It pauses your life for a moment and u get drenched into it. I think evanescence is also having the same effect on your life so much so that u love each and every thing about it. even i am attached to very few songs in my life. To be very honest i have no idea about evanescence. I would definitely like to know more about it from u. What say?

I love this band too! Though I don't have a great voice, I always choose "My Immortal" and "Bring me to Life" when we go singing in Karaokes.

Evanescence is a great band. I really liked their last album, as well as their previous ones. From the newest albuma, I particularly like "Lost in Paradise" and "My Heart Is Broken". From the older albums, "Haunted" and "Bring Me To Life" are two of my favorites.

Bring Me to Life made me a fan. I prefer the first album, but I did like The Open Door and their latest one. My Heart is Broken is definately my favorite from the current album.
