I was interested to know your place of living and the cost of a brick at your place.
These days it is hard to find the stones for the construction of the houses or buildings because the stone quarries are not easily available.
If I compare the price of the stone and bricks then the price of a brick is lower as compare to a good stone.
What is the price of unit A class brick at your place? What is your future expectation of the price to rise or fall?
If you use some other material please specify it.
Don't forget to mention your place.

Hi sanjay91422, every thing no matter edible or inedible goes up tremendously recently. Per red clay brick has gone up more than half of its former price and now is one us dollar and twenty cent each. Really horrendous eh...whereas the sand brick in grey color raises as well and is about 0.70 usd now. The rate of construction materials like cement and sand, wood, nail, etc follow the step of brick hike inevitable as well

If you are more than willing to let me know how much one USD equal to INR approximately, it's easy then to get the rate of per brick compared in our respective countries
Usually prices of all sorts of stuffs in big cities and towns are very much expensive than those in the small towns and countrysides. Have a nice day

yeah we use it like a conclusion also. I am thankful for the light you put on the matter, now the question is this that why they generally use the "good" with the "night" and "nice" with the "day".
I also use the good morning and good afternoon as the greetings and good night as the conclusion.

Here in India a brick cost is INR 3.75 excluding the transportation. So it is the currency difference which makes it to cost up to INR 50 at your place.

I hope you will come to know that soon, because you have to construct your house. Share it here when you do that. Thanks.

The building materials here in Malaysia have increased so much which pushed the prices of properties. The cost of grade b bricks is around rm0.50 .each. while grade a is about rm0.80 each. I just renovated my kitchen and I used grade b bricks. Presently the demand is more than supply and I don't think the prices will ever go down. Constructing your own house on your own land is much cheaper than buying from housing developers.

That is costly if I compare the rates here in India, because your currency is costly as compare to Rupees and the price you told equals about INR 9, but the brick cost here is about INR 5 per brick. Why is it so that it is costly at your place?

Now a days I am sure most of the people give the contract to the Builder to build their house or bungalow. And base on the available market rate of the construction material, adding and considering the ups & down in the prices Builder gives the quotation and then base on the feasibility we give the contract to them to construct our house.
Any way to tell you the price of single bricks here in India and special where I saty it is now a days Rs. 45 to Rs. 50 each base on the quality and size. What price I have mentioned is for good quality bricke

I don't think that is the correct price. There is no such brick in market which will cost you more than Rs.5 to Rs.6. From where you picked this data?
