How Do You Stop Your Facebook News-Feed from Updating More than Once a Session?

You know, when you open your news-feed page &--rather than 'just quit loading once it's already loaded one time'--it decides to reload again after a minute-or-two, EVEN IF YOU'RE HALFWAY-FINISHED TYPING A RESPONSE TO A COMMENT THERE ALREADY? Maybe 'you richies (with your gajillion-gigabyte machines and your wireless connections to the infinite server-engines)' have all the power in the world to use to reload your Facebook news-feed; but I have less than 20 Gigs and a cheapo energy-connection, so reloading-&-reloading my FB news-feed is like trying to start two diesel-engines with a hamster-wheel In short, how do I get Facebook to stop doing that to me?

Haha agree with you it is really annoying sometimes. I hate it when I'm reading a story & it shifts .

I think I'll do that right after I respond to someone else's discussion here.

And where do you find 'sort' on your homepage? Some corner somewhere? a side-list?
