Inks are running out fast, that gives me headache

I just hate that, those ink toner running out fast from my inkjet printer. I don't print much, and I only print some documents or whenever I made some online purchase, I print out the final order page to keep it for record only. I remember that I order the inks, both black and multi - color for less than 2 months, now, it is completely out again. I have to order from Staples online again. Another $40 for the ink. Do you think laser printer would be last longer than inkjet, but the toner will be much more expensive though. What is your suggestion or advise?

Today the printer is less expensive. And sometimes hard to believe it that it can be very cheap, too. However, you will find that the inks will be run out soon and buying the inks does cost a lot of money compares to the printer itself. I think this is the trick from the printer companies. This is how they can make money. If you don't often print the colorful documents, I suggest you buy a laser printer because in a long term the cost will be less.

Hi kingparker!
In our office we are using this bottomless ink. We let the technician installed it in our printer. Perhaps you can try it too. Personally, I have an inkjet printer and I just use it for my children's project so I don't consume a lot of ink.
