Man City and Man United both won their matches to make it a two horse race for the title with Chelsea now dropping out of the race. Chelsea kept a clean sheet, but also failed to score for the second successive match against Fulham. Arsenal and Everton played out a 1-1 draw which did not help either clubs cause. Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1 thanks to Bale who had a hand in all three goals of the match. With this win Tottenham leap frog both Everton and Arsenal into the fifth place. So the two Manchester clubs and Tottenham were the big winners of this round of mid-week matches. Cheers! Ram

It looks increasing like it is a battle between the Manchester clubs for the title. Arsenal and Tottenham are definitely out. Chelsea is just hanging on for now. Yes, there are still plenty of games to play but both the Manchester clubs are very consistent and won't drop much points till the end of the season. The rest, they will be fighting for the Champions League spot. I will say Spurs to grab the remaining place.

At this moment, Spurs do look the odds on favorite. But they have a post winter session slump coming up. If that happens there are a host of clubs waiting to pounce on them. Cheers! Ram

this is what I've been expecting when Chelsea management appointed Rafa Benitez. they may dream of winning BPL. this season, BPL title is surely go either MU or MC.

I think Benitez is definitely a stop gap arrangement. He is not popular with the fans and I am not sure about the players. Two 0-0 draws would have done nothing to endear him to the fans either. Cheers! Ram
