Hi Akamarukei, that is pretty bad. I found 3 sites that may help you. www.jeffkorhan.com/2011/08/how-to-protect-your-facebook-account-from-hackers.html www.ehow.com/how_8517008_protect-facebook-account-against-hackers.html and www.itworld.com/it-managementstrategy/239973/how-to-keep-your-facebook-account-being-hacked-really I haven't read much on these links because I don't understand much about it. But I hope they help you out. I can't get the last one to work. But I found it by searching for how to protect facebook account from hackers. Maybe you can find it that way.

I have very little knowledge of computers. I think you probably can follow the directions. I'm sure you'll do all right. I never grew up with a computer (I'm old) so I never really learned much. And now I keep forgetting everything and I find computers too confusing. I should have tried to learn more 15-20 years ago before I got so old. You're young and you have knowledge. Also you can ask your friends or ask in mylot.

i think you can strengthen the security aspect of your facebook don`t try to open the undoubt link.. sometimes it contain the malware and trojan and can take your facebook.. and you should connect your cellphone to your facebook so when there are changes of password, you can know from your mobile phone

Go to account security and enable HTTPS for a secure browsing. ALso, stay away from keeping you password saved when you are using a shared computer like in a computer shop or cafe. Also, check the people around before logging in. Poeple might have been checking on your fingers. Another thing, put a password that is too hard to guess.

Well, i think if you want to prevent your facebook account from hackers, then you should set a very strong password. One that has a mix of capital letter, small letters, numbers and special characters :)

Hi Akamarukei, It's good to set a stronger password to prevent your account from getting hacked easily! You are right, you need to set a stronger password for all different sites.

I rarely go on Facebook and never stay connected or store my password. I know plenty of people who do stay connected and store their passwords and never have any problem. I make it a habit to sign on manually each time I get the urge to sign on. You can make Facebook a secure site by working with the settings. Good luck and hope you get it straightened out.

You need to change your password and make it something that's not easy for someone else that might know you to guess.

Okay, usinf a celebrity name==een if it's one who has fallen out of favor--is nogt a good idea. You could use a VERSION of that name if it's easier to remember, but try using special characters fro part of their name of using a prefix or sufffix to their name.

I think better to watch out if you are logging out in a public computer. You may not notice you have not been logged out that fully. Better also to use a very hard password. I mean the jumbled alphanumeric passwords. Avoid also to share your passwords to any friends.
