I never thought that it had a lot of movies about it. I only saw the latest one, i guess it was a remake.. the one starring Ryan Reynolds.. I found it nice.. Are the other once good too, or even better? Some of my friends say the old ones were much scarier.. i don't know which one they are referring to though, since there are 10 movies in the series.

Oh! i never heard about it too,i thought the latest one is the orginal but really that movie is creepy and scary. is it really a true story?

I purposely chose not to see any of it. I have read the book and until now I'm sure it can still give me the creeps if I'm to read it again. Being a scaredy cat, I don't think watching the movie is a good idea. From the book, it is indeed super scary. At least for me.

We once had a VHS tape of the 1979 version of this movie, but my mom was hesitant to let allow us to watch it since she said it might give us nightmares when we sleep. My friends and I watched it anyway but I guess being too scared, we hardly understood the whole movie. I actually wasn't aware that they did a remake of it. I think I should watch that one. Most probably the effects would be scarier than the original.

Yeah, the effects weren't that marvelous, since the mood/setting was what gave the scary feeling.. not much monsters and ghosts.. i couldn't remember much of it..
but when i watched it.. when i was little i couldn't sleep for a few days, dreading that time 3:10 or 3:15..
i always woke up at that time when all the creepiness happened like in the movie. 
Now i have doubts..
