Do you have co-workers that are just plan inconsiderate?

I clean offices part time and sometimes the things that the ladies in the office do are just inconsiderate. To me there is a difference between emptying the trash, wiping down desks and having to clean up after a grown adult as if they were a child. For example someone spilled soda on the carpet and did not at all try to clean any of it up. So you know what happened? It ended up staining the carpet. Since it is not my responsibility to clean carpets professionally they ended having to spend more money to hire a carpet cleaning company. That all could have been avoiding if they would have soaked as much of it up as possible and then when I got their I could have done some more to it. Another example is with one individual who often eats popcorn. She always has two small handfuls of popcorn scattered all over the floor. It is just a common sense thing at least for me that if you drop stuff on the floor not to leave it sitting there all day. That you just pick it up and put it into the trash. Does your co-workers do things that drive you crazy at times?

fortunately i dont have a co worker with that kind of attitude, indeed it is really irritating to be with those kind of person as if they act really powerful and not cleaning up their own mess. Not acting professionally.

I'm glad to hear that you don't have any co-workers like this. That is a good thing.I'm sure that it makes your day go so much better to have good co-workers. It really isn't professional the way they are acting.Thankfully though the rest of my work goes pretty good.

Umm I do have sometimes. Wherein they don't pick up the paper in the floor even though they definitely saw it when they pass on it or dont give any effort to get faxed paper for them in the fax machine and just waiting for someone to bring it to them. I guess there are some people in all companies who act like that which is quite annoying and irritating once in a while especially when they are doing it so often.

Yeah it does get annoying. But thankfully I don't mind the job that I do. It's just irritating when people can be considerate. It's like they don't think how they would want things done if they had to do the work. They would definitely does things differently then.

Actually have family members that are this inconsiderate all the time. I have had jobs that I find people doing this. If I had time I would go after them and clean up. Thing is when people do this in a place of business it is bad looking for the company. Their ways of conducting themselves in this manner does say alot about how they conduct themselves in life. Sad but I see it all the time. I agree that they should be adult and use the manners they were taught in a place of employment, if nothing else to keep a good reputation for themselves. Some just don't care and do what they want. It is sad but it is real.

I completely agree with you. I think that a person's reputation should be important to them. Unfortunately though in these instances it is not the case. I'm sure that in other areas as well that this affects there life. It is sad but it happens more and more as people just don't care anymore.

I had. Some of them brought their kids to work, and the kids were running around, thworing stuff, and they didn't even try sometimes to stop them, for example. Or they always managed their own things in worktime, so I had to supervise their counters... like reregistering their phone number, to buy Christmas gifts, to eat out...
