Audio Jac Of My Motherboard is not working ?But its Fron Panel Audio Works ?

Dear Friends
I have a desktop board suddenly its audio jack has stopped working it uses Realtek AC 97 drivers and chip .........
Drivers are installed perfectly and no sign of device failiure seems....I connect my speakers to front panel since it back panel is not working ???
What Can be the cause when all the drivers are fine and windows shows device is working properly .........

Hi,
You have loose contact points on the mainboard audio jack or it has stopped working altogether. It happens, the In-Out or I/O ports do go out without warning and the operating system doesn't even know its already gone. Not to worry, as you said, the front panel still works, they use another portion to direct audio signals out of the system. It is not easy to tamper with the onboard (audio) chips so that will do. If you could also install a compatible sound card on your board, your audio output should sound better too.

You should be testing if it is your Audio jav of your motherboard is not working or the speaker itself not working . Hope it helps you.

Hi...it happened sometime but don't worry go to your motherboard support site and download the latest driver software of your motherboard and install the software and restart your desktop...
