Mylot stars?

I have not been on mylot in like 6 or 7 months now. I am finally getting back on here and i dont remember seeing stars beside peoples names. I have the number eight in the middle of the star beside my name. Could so one please explain to me what the stars for and what the numbers mean in the middle of them please. Thank you in advance.

If you look under faq's at the bottom of the page you will see that the star is your "reputation" and it explains it in detail. Everyone should look at the faq's when the first become a member of mylot. It's very informative.

Thank you very much. When i first become a member of mylot i did that and learned alot from it. But i have not been on mylot in like 6 or 7 months and then come back to it and didnt think anything about that. Thank you very much.
