Exotic foods are one local attraction on traditional cultures and customs. Sometimes it is also a mark of a country’s identity. Every country has its own distinct, fascinating, and even bizarre types of cuisine. Occasionally it can be coupled with a different type of cooking procedure or even you can eat them when they are raw. Some people love eating such foods because it makes them learn about other’s tastes, and give the perception of food anthropology. While there are exotic cuisines, more modern restaurants are offering such menu on their customer’s plates with a new touch to it. By combining contemporary and traditional techniques of cooking, it somehow diverts the foodie’s attention in terms of the foods presentation, although the taste is the same, its execution may be appealing. With this, exotic cuisine like a fried frog for example, May appeal to a foreign guest because it is not plated in the same way as it was presented in the old days, somehow with modern style of plating such cuisine, A foreign guest would assume that they are eating chicken since it the frog resembles a chicken taste not knowing that they are eating a inexplicable cuisine.

Heyyyyyy :D True they told me that exact line when old people cooked frogs at a certain province before. They said it really taste yummy, just close your eyes and think it's chicken! LOL.. Maybe because chicken is the yummiest-most-eaten meat for us, so to associate frog with chicken would make someone eat the frog dish. Nahh.. their magic line did not worked for me. =]

I have not had frog's legs, but then if I had, I would think it would taste somewhat like chicken, but not exactly. That is because my father was a cook and I can differentiate the slight differences. It is what we are used to even though our chicken may be done different ways, we could still know what it is. If we were to live in France for example, and have frog legs every day, we would know the difference.
