I hit my head

I sometimes do that whenever i go inside a multicab/jeepney or a tricycle.. since i don't bend down that low..It hurts for a while, but then i kind of got used to it.. But does it do permanent damage to us? It is not that often anyway.. and i don't really get big bumps from it.

Repeatly banging your head can damage your brain. It can break the small blood vessels in and around the brain. Take better care of your body, you only get one. Blessings

I am not banging my head intentionally, thank you or your advice though.. It's kind of my fault and the jeepney too, since the drivers do not think about the passengers and put the railings in the middle or way too low. True, we only have one body..

I think only if you don't really get big bummps from the hit, it doesn't matter . I experienced this once, the hit made me feel dizzy for a long while. So after that, I am careful for that. Now I seldom hit my head.

I have never been dizzy that long from my bumps though, fortunately.. it just hurts for a few seconds.. I must really have a thick head or skull, maybe it's been made stronger by my bumps before.

I think it will not give a big damage on our head as long as it is not that hard kind of bump...

YEah, it is not very often these days anyway.. But i think i bumped my head this week. Some drivers really don't care about their passengers and just drive as fast as they can.

Hello lady1993, Don't worry I am sure it's not serious, i do had those experience most of the time. but remember to lower your head specially if the entrance is a bit small.better be careful next time so that you won't get hurt like that again. who knows the next time you could get serious with just a head bump. they don't clean that much on that area that you bump in

Yeah, most of the vehicles/jeepneys have rusty handles, s if i d injure myself it might get infected bad. i d lower my head, maybe just not enough.. i hate those jeeps that have the railings in the middle.

It also happened to me before few times especially with jeepney that has light in the middle. One of my colleague also experienced it before wherein her head bleeded and have to go to the hospital and had some stitches in her head so we really have to be careful.

Wow, having your head bleed from that is pretty scary, i have never experienced that though.. But thank you for sharing that, that would definitely help me to be more careful..

Lucky me i never hit my head as hard as i can imagine you did yours, as long as you no strange feeling of sickness after a bump, it think there will nothing serious. If you feel any dizziness or vomiting try to see a Doctor to make sure you are not suffering into a complication or any internal hemorrhage.

Fortunately, i have not experience any long term side effects after my bumps. But i still try my best to be more careful next time since it does hurt for a few minutes. And sometimes it is embarrassing.
