I am encouraged when ....

Just sitting around doing my usual writing when my cats started to play with each other...the older one whiska was a newborn kitty i rescued from a certain death from the gutter of a stormdrain, whimpering horribly, as the downpour was just about to start,it was just as well ,i was sheltering from the wet rain when i found her ,right in between the drain where the water wud have gushed down flushing her life down to the big channel along with the other rubbish. the smaller kitten a gift from a neighbour who dont have time to have a pet and had i refused wou ld have dumped her in the market to fend for herself. suddenly i feel good about myself when it dawned on me that i had actually done something good and havent realised it,i saved a life or maybe even two,god knows what would have happened to FUWA-FUWA( means Fluffy in japanese) had i not accepted her . now just observing them at play ,think they are about 8 months apart ,maybe 5 years in cat age. Whiska seem to have developed a big sister mentality,taking on the role of teaching younger fuwa etiquete of hygiene, she meowed to fuwa to join her when she wanted to use the litter box we have in the apartment for them to poop and pee in,and Fuwa hasnt got the message yet peeing and pooping at odd spots,so Whiska seem to be trying to send fuwa the message ,this is where you do the business,in this box,seriously ,she meowed till Young Fuwa was sitting in front of her before she started to go about her business of pooping and peeing in the litter box..cats can amaze me .. I am encouraged by the sight of the close relationship my cats developed. Just as i am encouraged by the strangest of friends or human and pet combination , i still see it and stil find it incredible,seeing a human having a great white shark as a pet...responding to the caressing of the guy and swimming up high seemingly wanting more attention...to be petted..a huge monstrous great white shark acting like a puppy ..clik the link see for your self !! http://scubadiversions.blogspot.com/2010/05/see-to-beliefgreat-white-sharky.html
