Sneijder rumour

Sneijder is a top player and could easily be an asset to any team he goes to, I would definatley love to see Sneijder in the English premiership is I believe its the top league in the world and live to see the top players playing in it. I know that Manchester united have been heavily linked with him for years and they have had some good dutch players in there in the past. If Sneijder isn't getting into the Inter side he will move on because no top player is happy with sitting on the bench.

Wesley Sneijder is one of the best midfielders in the world. If he is available, there will be many clubs who would like to have him in their team, even though he is very expensive. But if he is a player that can win trophies for the team, it is the price that they have to pay. Inter Milan is silly to offer a new contract extension for him that pays less money to him than what he is earning now. He is just 28, not 38 years old. He is still at his prime. It is an insult to Sneijder to be presented such a contract extension in the first place. His current contract runs till 2015. Why the hurry for the club to force him to make a decision now with a new contract that cuts his salary? Because Inter Milan wants to sell Sneijder while he is still a hot property if he does not accept the new contract. If he accepts then Inter Milan will not have to pay that much money to him in the later years. This is a case of a cunning club forcing its will on a player who helped them win the Serie A, Coppa Italia, UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup. You love the club but the club does not love you. You want to be loyal to your club but the club does not want you. I hope he will join Manchester United in January. He is the kind of player that Manchester United needs to take command in midfield. His joining will make Rooney and RVP scoring more goals.

I am not sure if Sir Alex will go for Sneijder now. But given the United midfield performance so far, who knows he might just be tempted to make a short term investment in Sneijder. I think Fenerbache could be a more prominent player interested in this deal. Why has Sneijder fallen in the Inter ranks? Does the new coach not like him? Cheers! Ram

Is Sneijder out with a injury now? Anyway, if he is available in January, you can be sure that there will be no shortage of takers. In my opinion, he was one of the best playmaker two to three years ago. However, after his and Holland poor showing in Euro 2012, Sneijder seems to fade away. In any case, he will be a good addition to any team.
