or just during low battery status?
As much as possible I used to charge my phone when it was already off and battery empty, maybe I just used to it.But there are still instances that we need to charge it even though if it just battery low especially if we are going to go out or as needed.
As I noticed,my siblings and some of my friends used to charge their phone when battery low status appear on their phone.I guess they are worried for their phone to get off or dead so they won't missed any message or call.
How bout you folks, do you let your phone battery emptied before you charge or charge it when battery low status appears?

Oh that usually happened sometimes especially when going out which tend us to charge our phone since there are no charger outside and when we stay outside quite long hours.

well for me I sometimes forgot to charge my phone regularly. I just remember my phone and see it that there has no power. I think charging phones once it warns us "battery low" is really advisable since you dont want that your phone to be off specially in times of emergency.

Well some are like that who charge their phone once the battery low status appears to avoid missing any message or call especially in case of emergency. For me, since I always have my phone with, I can always see if it is already battery empty and charge immediately.

Actually, different types of batteries need to be charged differently... If you have lithium ion battery or lithium based battery, you shouldn't let it discharge completely... Every time lithium based batteries get fully discharged, it shortens the life of the battery... Any nickel based batteries should be drained periodically...

I wait till mine has just one line left. As like the gas tank in the car seems to go fast from there. Take care.

Oh take care too maria.
My brother used to be like that. He charge his phone if the battery was just one line cause we used to text or send message most of the time to his friends and class mates.

I charge my mobile when the battery in my mobile is at below 10%. I don’t put charging when my mobile’s is half or more than half charging. I heard some where that charging mobile battery before becoming empty will decrease the life time of mobile’s battery. I do same thing for my laptop. Some times I charge my mobile battery is at 50% status when I need to go out. When I am out side, I put my mobile in power save mode.

Oh power save mode could help a lot to longer the battery life for a day especially when we are out since there is no available charger outside. Sometimes I do it to especially if i do spend longer hours outside.

I used to be like that who let my battery really empty before I charge it. I also believe in what they say that it will make our battery last longer.

I only tend to use my phone for when I am in the car, I bought it in case I broke down and I needed to call for roadside assistance, so I will always ensure it is topped up, even when it hasn't run down. Knowing my luck, the only time I will need to use it and the battery would have run out! I should get myself a charger for the car as a back up.

Car charge could really help a lot especially if your phone got battery emptied or low. But just make sure that the charger is in good condition to avoid unnecessary incident.

Ardoy, i usually charge my cellphone when the battery is only left 5 - 10%. I never empty my cellphone battery, since sometimes there are someone who will call my cellphone. So far, i see my cellphone battery able to last a few years before the need to change it.

I usually will charge my phone when I get the battery low warning. There isn't much left at that time anyway, and it is better for the battery if you let it drain before charging it again. The bttery life seems to last longer that way, as you wouldn't want to have to keep buying a bttery for your phone. I just bought a new phone on Monday, and I only have toi charge it once a day, as I don't use it real extensively. The phone I had before this one, I could go two days before charging the battery. It just depends on the usage. It seems that the higher end phones, need to be chrged up more often. I don't mind it though, as long as it happens when I am at home and not away from home. I usually will charge it up though, before I head out, so that I don't have to worry about my battery dying on me when I can't charge it. Take care, and have a great day.

Usually if I see the battery low status wherein the battery is just around 5%, I do play some games so it will emptied my battery fast and I could charge it immediately to avoid missing any message or call.

I don't wait for my phone's battery to be completely drained before I charge it. I charge it as soon as I see that there is only a single bar on the battery meter.

I just used to charge my phone when it shows an message of low battery message. I think this is the best time to do it and I had read many articles related to it and such a recommendation was underlined in it. So I just follow it blindly.

It depends on the type of battery you have. If it's NiCad (nickel cadmium, as some older phone still have), then it's sometimes best to fully discharge the battery before you charge it again. This will extend the battery's life. But if your battery is Li-Ion (lithium ion, as most newer devices now have), then it's okay to charge as needed. A li-ion battery normally has 300 life cycles and one full discharge is counted as one cycle. But if you charge at 50%, then you don't fully use one cycle therefore extending the life of your battery. So with newer batteries, it is okay to charge your phone as needed.
Obviously, I charge my phone as needed. Even if it's still 50% full but I know I'm leaving the house or car for an extended time, then I make sure I charge it. Especially since smart phone are such battery hogs. Hope this helps.

Most phone producer will advice us in the manual book to discharge our battery before charging it to make sure the battery can last long. But it's seem impossible to make sure this is done unless we have bought discharger. I always charge my phone when the battery indicator turn to red signal. I cannot wait till it totally empty cause I'm mobile and I must always have my phone available when someone want contact me. I think my practice will cause my battery has shorter life but I think that's fine cause I just satisfied with it service to me cause I can always be contacted. I think spending for a new battery later on when the battery has condemn is not a big deal.

no i dont. i don't like draining the battery because i used to do that i lot. then i notice that my phone gets longer to charge/notify that its already charging. then eventually it doesn't charge anymore. so draining your battery is not really good or its an isolated case for me. hehehe.
