Yesterday I was half day in the office so that I can attend the important agenda of my mother in De La Salle University which is the Tribute for retiree. So as I am going home already I am surprised that there was pick up and camera of ABS CBN and they are already interviewing one of our maids. It is about featuring the kasambahay bill which will be aired this coming Saturday December 8 around 4:45 pm. Our home was fully prepared and arranged very well. The staff are even amazed about the appearances of our home. My sister in law was interviewed as well on how she handles their maids and how they pay them. Even my niece and nephew appeared on the camera. I don't know if my mom was interviewed as I am hearing that she will be also interviewed. Our new house will be exposed on air and I am so excited to see it. I hope you are going to watch it guys!

I didn't know that it will be scheduled for yesterday I was totally shocked when I came home. Though I've heard the maid that he informed my parents regarding this matter because the researcher from ABS CBN is actually a friend of my sister in law's brother. They were looking for people to be interviewed about kasambahay bill. So he talked to our maid regarding that matter.

There is advantage for them for the Kasambahay bill. I think our maid have mentioned that it was alright for her even if the Kasambahay bill wasn't followed since she was able to go in school in the expense of my sister in law.

Hhhmmnn, I am curious to see how your house looks ... Anyway, I am also interested about that Kasambahay Bill...When me and my siblings were younger.. We have maids too.. I mean one maid in a certain time then another maid again... That's why my parents told us that we are 'tamad' (lazy).. We grew up with maids... And now were older... I still sometimes find myself I'll do it later (cleaning dishes, doing laundry, clean the house), even just sweeping floors...ughh....

Since there is already Kasambahay Bill I am now wondering if how many percent will live with and without maids. If I would hire maids someday then I will also consult a lawyer regarding this matter. Because I know that is going to be important especially if you want to have a family or else I will be housewife.

Wow! So how did they choose which household to be interviewed for that particular segment? I am sure a lot will be enlightened on how their helpers should be treated.

The brother of my sister in law has friend who is working in abs cbn then he is a researcher. They were looking for the maids then the brother of my SIL asked our maid if she can be interviewed then she agreed on it.

I will watch it on saturday metatronik for me to be able to view a part of your house. Kidding aside, I will watch it to know more about the kasambahay bill. I would like to know more know about that bill and share it to my family and friends. I am glad that there is this new law for our household helpers. I pity especially who are abused by their employers. Now that this law had been passed, they will be protected.

That is advantage for the helpers so that they would be protected. But there are times that there are helpers who are being abusive too. Like you just discipline and scold them a bit because they weren't able to follow or obey you then they will cry as if you oppressed them.

Yeah. There are some abusive helpers who have attitude problem. :( I hope these kind of people/household helpers will not abuse this new law.

I know, I also doubt it if all the interviews will be featured as well. For sure there will be cut. At least I could see our house will be featured even just for seconds.
