do you know which is the highest value currency?

hi guys, i was wondering which is the highest currency in the world. and before i start this discussion, i was playing around with the windows gadget 'currency' and look one by one. in the past i thought euro countries have the highest currency but after playing one by one of the currency compare, i had found middle east(i am not sure is it there but it is muslim countries) currency value is the highest. i can't believe it so later on i google it to check for it. well cannot denied it because it is true the kuwait is the highest currency value in this world. and few more in front UK pound. well after knowing this fact i think i should pay more attention on international news.
one more thing i am not so sure about the reason is why US dollar is most used money around the world. i was roughly know some but not very clear so hope anyone can tell me why. when i was small i know pound had a very high value currency compare to US dollar but why still US dollar used the most. this is my curious.

I dont know Kuwait currency is very highest value in this world. I always think pound sterling is highest. Maybe because due to the world USA is main power economic in this world. By the way thanks for sharing. :)

At this time,the pound sterling is the most stable compared to the Euro(which is considered toxic because of the Eurozone Crisis and the dollar is weak at the moment). But I tihnk the US dollar still tops the list. I mean, they still have the largest economy in the world, maybe so after the Chinese. Chinese yuan is not considered as a traceable cur ency by way and it isn't an international currency.

ya you are right, but i hope chinese yuan to grow. my ancestors are chinese and i am chinese too but not born in china. i know china is not very good in many aspect but i still hope the country grow, i had even hope for the chinese in china more behave in some sense because i always thought that china is the most historical and has long life culture, i hope for more in return from chinese people. maybe my way of thinking is not correct but just my hope for china and chinese to grow stronger.

The US dollar is used most because our currency is based on gold. The Euro was forced on European countries so they now have to deal with the bad credit of other countries. The US dollar, although declining in worth is still the strongest currency we have. I know that since that dolt dorkbama got in the white house he has borrowed trillions to kill it with the Chinese currency. Gold is still the standard and its the best precious metal we have to bring the dollar back to the forefront.

i am not so good in international news like these but i can get what you mean here. saying about borrowed money, my country is heavy in dept and people say my country many goes to bankrupt in between 20 years or what de, i am weak on politics so i always ignore the news through those are news of my country and my future. i think i should talk more about these because weak on all these things cannot complain so much.
