How do you find inner peace within your religion? I find when I am centered on God, rather than get busy with doing things in my church, I find inner peace. Charity work is good and so is fellowship with the other church goers. But, I find that God is first and foremost in my life. Then, I find inner peace and joy and of course, love.

One must have a personal relationship with God to attain the inner peace and joy. Talk to God in prayer and worship and praise Him. Truly, He will be found by those who seek Him heartily. Thanks for this discussion. God Bless

Hi ZoeJoy, The best way to find inner peace is by going within, into the silence - there you will be alone with God. I find that meditation is excellent. It has been said that prayer is talking to God and meditation is listening to God. I think that most people talk far too much and listen seldom. We can all know inner peace if we will but seek God within. Blessings.

I do like that quote: Prayer is talking to God and meditation is listening to God. Sometimes I find God is talking to me at moments when I am quiet and peaceful. Blessings to you.

I agree with you, though we should maintain peace and good relation with fellow members but our center should be God ,we can share anything with him without any hesitation. so get the inner peace as we don't have to hide anything.

I find inner peace when I feel close to my Lord dimension of Muharram, and when I read in the Quran, when I help others and find happiness in their eyes, ..Etc.

Inner peace is the "most" wanted for almost of all of human beings, I do agree with that. But, why do you get or feel inner peace when you're focusing to the "God"? And then, How do you prove it that is the true "God"? Nice to share with you.
