As the Champions League is in full action, the Europa League competition goes at the background of our attention. However, there are interesting matches to watch and nice teams to follow. They also have exciting matches full of surprises.
Teams to watch:
Metallist Kharkiv, Rubin Kazan', Anzhi Makhachkala, Atletico, Fenerbahche, Bordeaux, Steaua, Stuttgart, Dnipro, Genk, Lyon. Plus, the third-place teams from the Champions League.
Today and tomorrow, matches to focus on:
Udinese (Italy) - Liverpool (England).
Fenerbahche (Turkey) - Borussia M (Germany).
Bordeaux (France) - Newcastle (England).
Napoli (Italy) - PSV (Netherlands).
Genk (Belgium) - Basel (Switzerland).
Atletico (Spain) - Sparta (Czech Republic).
Tottenham (England) - Panathinaikos (Greece).
Good Luck to all teams. Worth mentioning that Inter (Milan) was recently beaten with the score of 3:0 by a Russian team Rubin (Kazan').

It's possible. However, given the fact that there are 3 Russian teams (they, generally, did very well in UEFA Cup), some German powerhouses, plus the third-place teams from the Champions League coming in, it will be hard for that Spanish team to keep up. But nothing is lost, for sure - Atletico is still doing very well, and they are in full power to repeat the success of the previous season.

I think so, but it's not easy to Diego Simeone's team to maintain their trophy cos there are a lot of potensial opponent like Udinese, The Reds Liverpool, Napoli and PSV. And don't forget with Chelsea! I think Rafa Benitez is searching for revenge cos his team kicked out from Champions League

All three English clubs made it to the next round. Tottenham did it in style winning their final match 3-1 thanks to goals from Adebayor and Defoe. Liverpool just tipped over the cross line thanks to a narrow 1-0 win which could have been stuffed out at the last minute, but a miss by Di Natale meant that Liverpool went through by the narrowest of margins. Newcastle was already through and the 0-2 loss only meant that they did not top their group.
Cheers!

It seems Europe League like champions league, full actions cos in there there are a lot of giant team which must fight each other like Udinese against the reds liverpool, Girondins Bordeaux against The magpies Newcastle, and Napoli against PSV. I can't wait to see who is the next europa league champions for this year? Is Atletico can maintain their trophy again ?
