Wow did not know we had so many winners! Do a MyLot search for "Crappy Topic" and there you will find all the winners so far for the crappies and most boring discussions I have come across. Yes and if you don't want your discussion landing up there, then you had better start posting something good instead of all these stupid lamo questions!

Yes, I think a Crappy Topic of the Day award should be given each day for the lamest question asked within the last 24 hours. Maybe the person asking the question could have one point subtracted, those who respond could have TWO points deducted for responding to the lame topic. ;-)

Hey, another idea! How about you guys also dish out some crappy disussion of the day awards too? Simply add a reponse and notify of the award (being a bit sarcastic makes it more fun) and then tag the discussion as "Crappy Topic" this way all the crap can be found in one simple search. If we get enough members doing this maybe we will see better topics comming to light instead of the junk (You like yello or black? me is yellow) like that. Get your buddies to participate to if you want. Think of it as some sort of "crusade" to rid Mylot of all the junk!

I have to agree with you on the crappy topics issues. I have seen so many that I just skip over and don't respond to. I think they just poke any old thing in there to see if they can get a response.

Have you noticed that alot of the crappy topics get alot of responses. The interesting/intellectual ones usually get overlooked.

Yes the good topics do get over looked because it will take too much effort and waste to much time to make a good comment. Remember that most people here have lost all sight of a "Discussion group". They think that by quick simple responses and as many as possible, they will make alot of money. They are so wrong - poor devils have become money slaves! They probably put 8 hours or more in for mabey 1 dollar if they are lucky. What a waste of presious time.

You are right there. I think there should be a rule that you cant ask a stupid one liner like Do you drink tea or coffee? It would make fo more interesting discussions.

There are some inane discussions started certainly but not all of them fit into that category. One of the things that was happening was that people would start these discussions that only needed one or two word responses, so lots of people responded to get the maximum number in for the day. However, that has now changed as myLot are paying for quality, so hopefully we will see more quality discussions and responses. :)

HA! I will do this right now. I have a few crappy topics myself. They sounded good at the time, but when I go back to them I think they are crappy. But they always get good responses. Go figure!
