Welcome to MyLot. I doubt if any big head down here will ever take any notice of what we write here! Currently, the minister responsible for this area has big affiliations with the coal mining industry. The PM has, in recent times, supported big solar projects, but at a huge cost & these have been shown never to make back the total money "invested" - let alone make a profit. The worst thing is that the "poor" who cannot afford solar power are forced to fund the "rich" installing it onto every rooftop they can via their electricity bills. In Victoria, the state government recently opened more new coal plants, which make very good economic sense & investors will quickly get their money back with substantial returns on their investments. In this state, for the months of September & October, we exported a fair bit of wind energy to Victoria.

It is working in my country. Now a days, the govt. is focusing on solar power to over come power shortage and power cuts.
