Hi all :) So, yesterday i had this weird problem with my network operator and i actually thought it was a fault of my phone. I was not able to receive texts or calls from anyone but at the same time, i was able to contact others. This happened from yesterday morning and i was trying to contact customer care executive until now. So at last someone pick up the call, i told my problem, they said it was temporary and gave me a temporary fix. It helped me though. Have you guys had such problems or anything like that?

Here in my country, yes. I guess we have some down systems sometimes. We can't send any take or make calls. Hope you'll be able to send and receive text messages and calls soon.

Hi, I don't know whether this information will help you in any way, but my mom faced similar problem on her mobile handset, and when i called customer care (vodafone) we been informed that we did some changes in setting that why calls are barred. (i guess that could be due to any keys got pressed and then resulted in barring calls in handset) The code is like *35*0000# (this to to use call baring incoming) and to deactivate #35*0000# Call baring outgoing To active this option *33*0000# and to deactivate use this code and then calling key that is #33*0000# This information i stored in my handset for future use, if required (lol)

Hey thanks for such a useful information. However, the problem is solved now. There weren't any changes in options like call barring and so..maybe some sort of network problem and its resolved now. By any chance do you know how to reset the security code of our phone? I have changed my default settings and now it doesn't accept my new code though.hehe..

I guess to get information related to security setting you need to call your service provider and get all the codes. They will reset and provide you new codes.

Maybe i need to go there personally to their service centers so that they can install my device's firmware again...and it means lose of all data even if i take backup as they instruct not to re-install backup to avoid the same problem... :(

Hi nitinnair89, glad to learn that you had get your problem solved finally. I faced calling and sms problem when I had my vacation in foreign country few weeks back. I felt bored to keep on sms and calling my hubby at hometown. I then asked my friend to call him via his phone asking my hubby to phone me. It worked and I relaxed to inform my hubby I was safe reaching destination. It's weird that my phone could serve it's purpose the third day Have a nice day

i do have network problems but it is all the time and due to poor signal. It is getting better slowly slowly. I could not use the net inside the house because there was no signal in the house. now I can use it inside. it is become better but not like how the signal is in the city. I guess it is because I am in the village and there is no tower on the island. It is same with cell phone network. we have to go out of the house and talk on the phone. well can't help it. I am glad that your problem got fixed .. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I had a problem with my phone, for some reason it wouldn't let me send text's it kept coming back with an error message, fortunately there is a local phone shop, so I took it in for the guy to have a look at it, he seemed to know exactly what the problem was and in a few seconds had it solved!

Cool! That was real quick there. My mother told me twice or thrice to show it to some shops but i was reluctant for that..i did not wish to waste money over things like this. I was sure it was network problem..and now it is solved :)

its a temporary fix but i think within some time you will find a permanent fix for that and also the network operator was trying so hard to achieve it

Hi friend, good to hear that you solved your problem, this kind of network problems are quite common in most of the networks and they will solve it soon. Some times we thought the problem is from our phone side, we can clarify our doubt by making a call to the customer service
