Hi friends, We all have lot of friends here in mylot. Somedays I will get lot of request from mylotters here. I also use to send friendship request to other mylotters. I won't hesitate to accept friendship request. But there are people here who will think about the person before accepting the request. Do you think too much before accepting the request?

Hi friend, i am also in your sort, most of the time i will accept all the incoming requests, very rarely i will deny some requests, if the user don't have any post here. This kind of zero post persons will send spam messages to us, so i am not interested in making friendship with them

I never denied any request. I want as many friends as possible. But I agree with you in persons with zero posts. There is possibility of spam by those persons.

No,never.I gladly accept each and every friend request that comes to me.I don't see whether the sender is a veteran here or a newbie,or whether he or she is active or not.Still I love to have active friends in my friends' list.I,on my part, send friend request to others and they approve my requests. However while sending friend request to someone else,I prefer to choose active members.

How active members help us to earn more money?

I never think about a friend request and accept them as fast as I get them. Once in awhile I'll see someone I want as a friend but my friend list is getting too big for me now....

I used to accept all requests but recently I had an issue with someone here spamming me asking me for a lot of money which I don't have... So from now on I will be more picky about who I accept. I don't want to be spammed here or anywhere else!

I tend not to add people any more, as no sooner have you added them they seem to send spam, asking to join sites, or send money for things. I have loads of people on my friends list, that are no longer on here and others that come on here yet do not do any activity on here.

I am also getting messages like that. But very few people use to behave like that.

Usually I check the activity and what kind of topic a certain mylotter/s have had on his/her page before I accept the request. I am not too choosy, but I have reasons for accepting or not to accept the request.

There is no need to check the activity of the person to accept Friend request. Well, it is your wish to choose what you want...

Yah, there is no need to check. I am just sharing my opinion regarding your topic. Everyone has different reason if they ignore or accept every friend's request that they received here in Mylot.

I don't think too much. Every friend request sent my way will be accepted. I don't care who they are whether they're new or veteran mylotters. I don't see any reason not to accept their friend's request. I don't fear being spammed with offers or anything like that because I can always ignore them and once they know that I don't respond, they'll stop spamming me. I will however turn off the notification so that my email won't be inundated with the discussions that they've started.

Yes, spam is the big problem in accepting friend request. We need to be careful with those people.

I don't deny a request, it's just that before I accept any request from a person, I would first observe his/her activities, there are times before that I accepted friend request, then suddenly, the person will be sending spam messages. I also feel sad to delete friends so to be sure, I don't accept friends request without observing the person. I have a lot of pending friend requests. Have a nice day!

I do not hesitate to accept friend request in mylot. I like to share my ideas with you here and glad to know you concern me. It's different from QQ (our chinese) between mylot. QQ chat in china can used for talking online. That does not mean QQ chat is bad, actually it's wonderful and convenient for friends connection. But i dunt like to add strangers on it, just the frieds i know. Now i have some indian friends who use QQ for chatting except for MSN.

it is like MSN,Yahoo Messager--a chatting tool. In China, we use it in common.some of my indian friends who are working and studying in china also use it. It has many functions to share our ideas with friends and connect with each other.

I actually accept friend requests immediately, this is not a big deal to me because one thing why I remain being being active in this site is to make new friends. I just wonder why I send so many friend requests but only few approves. Maybe they are being careful and that's not bad, after all we are all strangers :)

I would never hesitate to accept a friend request because that just opens you to have more exposure on here. When you have more exposure, more people will comment on your discussions and you will potentially make more dough. (potentially)

A lot of time I will make sure a person is active here before accepting them as a friend unless I personally know them. Then I usually go check out the type of discussions they have started and see if these are things I can relate with and am interested in. Personally, it never hurts to accept new friends here as you can always them as you can always delete them later.

Well, yes, I do. I usually choose those who are actively participating and those that has great ideas with their posts. There are some that I have accepted but are no longer active.

Why not. there is nothing wrong in accepting friend request. I don't see any reason of refusal if the intention is just friendship. If this person will ask something from me, then, I think I could just delete this person from the list. problem solved. "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

Not even in myLot, everywhere I don't accept or send friend request. I am too choosy in sending request on social networks but accept the send request if the sender is communicating actively and friendly. For a new user all are good to accept friend request, but for an old member, there are some choices.
