She accidentally overwrote her novel on her computer and something happened to the paper copy she gave her boyfriend to read; somehow I missed what happened there. Now Connie has stolen the copy she gave to Todd to read and has made some changes and it looks like she will try to publish it as hers. You have to feel sorry for Molly and hope that she is able to get the copy back from Connie with her plan to for her and her boyfriend to intern for Connie. Spinelli probably would had taken the case when Todd asked him to find the missing manuscript if he had told him it was Molly's manuscript. But now it is up to Molly herself.
