Yes, I still love Manny Pacquiao... i still admire him... i still believe that he will be able to make a comeback after the fight... but i can't help but admire his number 1 nemesis... Juan Manuel Marquez... his worked extra hard just to fulfill his obsession to defeat Pacquiao without question... and the whole Philippines is still in shock with his success... But then... we need to move on... we need to finally accept defeat with grace... just like how Pacquiao took it... because i know... he will make a comeback... and when he does... he will make us proud again... Right now... win or lose... Manny is still a hero that Filipinos should be proud of... but we also need to give Marquez the respect he deserves... since... he did knock out Manny Pacquiao...

I didn't watch the fight but I read about afterwards. I think that Manny accepted defeat better than some people, he will fight again, many Filipinos cheered for Manny when he entered the ring but I don't think they did when he got out of the ring. We should cheer our heros, they aren't always the ones that win, they are the ones that fight to win but still capture that essence of bravery many people long to have in themselves.

Most Filipinos were shocked with what happened... and they cannot cheer because they were afraid that something seriously bad might happen to Pacquiao... we are still 100% proud of him... he is our hero... he inspired a lot of Filipinos to strive hard despite and in spite or everything... When he arrives here in the Philippines... people will still cheer for him because of the sportsmanship he showed... he is a gentleman and a graceful loser... which others should emulate... Thanks for the response...

Their fight was indeed awesome.Yes marquez really work hard for that fight, he is really determined to win and yes he did. But what really matters is they give their best, they were really professional on boxing, though i know many people have been disappointed but that is life and pacquiao said that there will always be a winner and a looser.

If there is a fight of the decade... this could be it... both were determined to win... it just came to who wanted is badly or desperately... and we all know that is Marquez... but they are great fighters... who will be forever remembered for a very long time... Thanks for the response...

Right indeed the great fight i have ever seen. I hope all of the people will just accept the truth and will recognize that even if pacquiao loses he is still one of the best fighters in the world.

Yeah I guess we should start recognizing Marques for putting Pacquiao our Hero down. Although it pains to witness this defeat but I guess that is what Marquez is supposed to do to himself as well. I think for now Pacquiao has moved on and they went home earlier now to be with family and friends for the coming Christmas Season. I guess time for him to reflect on what his next move will be. I guess it is Marquez's time to rejoice but if given the chance I would like a rematch for the 5th time perhaps to at least see if he could sustain his belt this time. But the ball is all in Marquez side for now and they hold the cards for now and we will see if they will face each other again or Marquez would want this to be the last fight so that he sustains the title as "The Man who defeated Pacquiao". If he agrees for a rematch he might risk just losing it again.

I also want a 5th match... but since Marquez is already 39 years old... and he achieved his greatest goal... it would be difficult to convince him to fight Pacquiao again... but if he agrees... for sure he will ask for more money... more than what he earned during the previous fights... Thanks for the response...

Filipinos and all boxing-loving fans the world over are all behind Manny Pacquiao. What they are praying for and looking forward to is for him to have a clear and clean conscience so he could overcome his opponents during a fight. There are shady deals in boxing that they don't want Pacquiao to engage in obviously because they're shortchanged. There are mention of a mafia controlling the deal, fixed fight, faked KOs, etc. Did Manny fake the KO as directed and planned by Arum to lure Mayweather into challenging Manny anew into the Big Fight. I hope I'm wrong. So I congratulate Marquez for a well-earned victory.

I don't think Manny faked the KO... he is not even a good actor... and for sure his coach... Freddie Roach would never agree to that sort of thing... they worked to hard just to throw in the towel because of some shady deal... Thanks for the response...

In the world of boxing, there is ups and downs. even before, while manny was at the peak of his career in boxing. I knew, this is gonna happen. I mean, What comes up must come down. So what happened to his fight with marquez proves this.

Well, i agree with you... Pacquiao was bound to lose one way or another... but i never expected it to be like that... him knocked out cold... he had stronger opponents in the past... well... i believe that he will stage a comeback... Thanks for the response...

that is right but it will take him some sacrifices for him to get a blowing comeback. He needs to choose among fields that he really wants to pursue in his life. he can't be successful in everything.

Juan Manuel Marquez indeed earned my respect during his last bout with Pacman. His obsession to defeat Pacquiao made him trained for four and a half long months which proved to be the big difference during the fight. We have to congratulate him for a very deserving win over the pinoy icon, he deserve it. Have a great day. Ciao!

Yes, i agree... hard as it may to accept... Marquez defeated Pacquiao without question or even as thread of doubt... he was fueled by his obsession and determination... but these two are great warriors truly worthy or our praise... Thanks for the response...

Marquez trained for about 4 months compared to Pacmans only 2 months. The long preparation is due to his obsession to defeat Pacman and look for his weakness and take advantage of it to get a knockout. His dedication to his goal is very admirable and hats off to him. As what Pacman said, no excuses, Marquez was better than him during that night.

Yeah, we should always give the respect and praise to whoever has won. Sportsmanship isn't only confined to the participants. It should also be shown by the spectators. Marquez won fair and square, and we should acknowledge that win of his regardless if we rooted for Pacquiao.

I admire Juan Manuel Marquez for being so prepared in facing Pacquiao. He was so diligent with his trainings and not sensationalized it than Pacquiao who has camera in everything he moves. And Marquez training was a secret...

Yes, i agree... his focus was 100% on the training and on beating Pacquiao... and that he was able to accomplish... i just wonder if he will agree on a 5th fight... he is 39 years old... and most boxer are already retired when they reach that age... Thanks for the response...

I was also rooting for Marquez because i believe he should have won the third fight... but people were saying if he really wants to win without question... it should be via knock out... and that he did... and all Filipinos were shocked... Thanks for the response...
