saddest fall of Pacquiao

As I had earlier mentioned, I am and had never been a big fan of boxing, but I just can't help giving my reaction to a TV footage of the various sad reactions and expressions of Pacquiao's die-hard fans when he got knocked down by his opponent very recently. What I found really sad was to see this grown-up man openly crying, shedding tears when his idol was knocked unconscious. In a brief interview, the man was crying because now Pacquiao won't be able to help them. Turns out that Manny Pacquiao promised these typhoon victims to help them rebuild their homes and their lives if he wins this fight. Now, according to the man, Pacquiao won't be able to help them. I found that very sad.

Manny Pacquiao has still the resources to help the people. I don't think a simple loss will prevent him from extending help towards the victim of the typhoon. It's just sad that people depend so much on him. I mean, yes they were devasted, but to put everything on one man is just unfair. He also has to do something to rebuild his house, his life and his family's. Like you I'm not a Pacquiao fan, nor boxing but after the fight I have so much respect to Manny. He is very humble. He is very different from other boxers.

Yes, so many people look up to him as like a savior,so the downfall must have hurt a lot.

I think Pacquiao promised to help them after his fight, and not only when he wins the fight. Also right after the fight, when pacquiao came home he sure was seen in the area and did gave out some of his personal money to help the victims. Win or lose pacquiao gets a fixed amount of money(in millions, and in dollars) so i bet he should still be able to keep his promise of helping people out.

Hi Chiyos! Yeah, that's the good thing about this sport because you get paid big money for hurting others.

I was shock when he falls down. If I would Manny, I would not change my religion. He is still a star for us and the money.

I know that the fact that he had been actively involved in religious activities recently, preaching, etc. has affected his performance as a boxer. Deep in him, I know that there is already something that makes him think that hurting others is not good etc. so he was not able to give a good fight.

Here's the bottom line. Pacquiao did say he's going to dedicate his fight to the sorrowful victims of super typhoon PABLO in the land of his birth. If we interpret it to mean that he'll donate his winnings to them, we maybe correct. Now that he got his waterloo, will he still mind and fulfill his promise? Manny can't turn his back to the hungry Mindanaons victim. Manny will share his purse as a vanquished fighter with his fellow typhoon-vanquished brothers in the south.

I heard he just donated a huge amount to the victims in spite of what happened. In boxing, win or lose, you still get paid big money.

Just like you, i am not also fond of boxing, but when manny has a fight i will definitely not miss it coz watching his fights are too good, when i saw his recent fight and he suddenly falls down i feel really nervous because he is not barely moving, but luckily he did woke up.though he loses his fight i feel somehow relieved coz nothing terrible happened to him.

If he has the worth to help other people, even he lost the fight. He still have tons of money to share. It is a genuine interest to help his fellowmen. Good day!

Yeah, that should be the case. I know he still has plenty of money in spite of the defeat.
