I remember a folktale about a princess who was seeking for suitors. The news was spread wide and far. Her suitors came one after another on different ocassions for her hand in marriage and she rejected them until a spirit being in human body came. She eventually made the wrong choice. I remember another tale about a princess whom her suitors came all at the same time for her hand and she made the right choice. Does it mean, or are the tales saying that one should consider all his or her marriage choices at the same time? Beats me.

That sounds like a good moral to a story...But, I think that princess fairy tales are just that...fairy tales. They are meant to entertain little girls and give them the insane belief that there is such a thing as a "Prince Charming" in the live. If we do not give our children hope, the species will die out.

I do believe so, Adoniah. But fairy tales were constructed to teach moral lessons. I believe the lesson there was that the princess was better off judging her suitors at one rather than wait for them to show themselves one after the other.
