I had posted a few petsitting ads back on Kijiji, I had a lady email me this morning. I just emailed her back with my rates, and duties.
I am hoping she picks me, but it's a town further north than myself about 30 minutes. The couple I currently pet sit for chare $35.00 a day and a 20 minute drive. So I said $45.00 for the petsitting, and walking.

I don't think that is a bad rate to ask for. Hopefully she will pick you, as it's really not all that bad. She has to take into consideration you have to drive a bit. Things like that are usually like around $10 an hour down here. I mean babysitting is, and usually people charge about the same to pet sit.

hi Ricki that sou nds like a reasonable price as you have to consider the cost of driving there and back.I do hope you get it. Yo should be a pretty good expert at this b y now.You love animals and care for them well and you love tol cook thats some combo you have in expertise.,I bet you would make a g ood vet b ut of course trhats costly training for the postion, anyway I do hope you get the job.

I have a friend who is a vet. tech and she does pet sitting as well. I think it will be awesome if you get another pet setting job it will bring in some extra money for you. I think you are earning a good amount at $35 a day. Let us know if you get the job.
