Calling all hockey fans

What are you all doing to cope with the current NHL lockout? Are some of you watching the AHL or possibly the CHL? Personally, I have turned to the NBA for the most part. Only fairly recently, within the past 2 or 3 years, I have gotten into the NFL, so I also watch that too. I'm not sure why I haven't been watching more of the AHL (the home team here is the Toronto Marlies) or the OHL. I think I might start watching more hockey, but hopefully the lockout ends very soon!

we have a great AHL hockey team here in the city where i live and we haven't gone to any games this year, we still cheer for them.

That is great to hear! The "home" team I cheer for is actually an hour and a half's drive away from here and I have not gone to any games this year either. I have not even seen any games on TV. I have, however, seen some Ontario Hockey League games on television which are pretty good too but mostly have been watching the NBA as well as the NFL. If you don't mind me asking, what is the team? You don't have to tell me if that is too personal though, of course :) I think I already mentioned it, but mine is the Toronto Marlies and I don't mind the Hamilton Bulldogs as well.

I just went cold turkey just like the last time. But I just heard they are back on Jan 19th!
