Who else watched this wonderful concert last night? For those of you that did, tell me some of your favourite moments of it or simply what you thought about it as a whole.
I didn't end up watching the whole thing, but probably ended up watching a good portion of it I would say. It was quite entertaining I thought. I think it was kind of interesting that there were so many British bands playing the concert considering it was an American concert, but nothing wrong with that or anything, just stating something I noticed.
As for my favourite moment of the concert, I would have to say the "Nirvana reunion" with all the guys (even Pat Smear) and Paul McCartney in Kurt Cobain's place. I thought that was pretty cool, just a little disappointed they only played one song!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am glad to know from u all that a concert in the memory of Hurricane Sandy victims happened last night and i think this was a very good step in order to raise money for those victims who had lost their lives or for those people who lost their properties due to the hurricane.
I would have watched the concert definitely had i been informed about the same. Anyways, i am sure the concert would have been hugely successful with many good stars performed in it.

Yeah sorry, I guess I did not go into too many details about the concert itself. But it looks like you found out about it on your own so that is good.
Also, the concert was very successful and there were tons and tons of stars whom performed last night, too many to name really. I am not too sure how much money has been raised thus far or anything like that but I am quite certain that the concert was a success indeed.

Thanks for your valuable response again. Well that is OK if u do not mention too much details about the concert. More importantly, the concert was conducted for a noble cause and it also lived to every one's expectations. Many stars performed which is a good sign that they had concern about the victims so that good amount of money can raised for them through this.

I wanted to watch it all but decided at the last minute for some reason. I saw some of Jon Bon Jovi with nd without his group which was very good, and also part of the Rolling Stones who are my faves anyways. Eddie Vedder with Pink Floyd was one of the highlights as well. I had an issue with the brother again where he insisted I DVR his Operation Repo (UGH!) shows which pissed me off, so much. He even lied and said that i didn't tape them for three times in a row when in fact I know I taped them at least the first week of December or so and I was right! I had to go into the History of my DVR and there they were, three episodes, it was not 3 weeks ina row. Now if I bring it up for him again he will probably start another blow up so it's not worth it. He is just too unstable to make myself sick over it but I did manage to DVR stuff after 10 p.m. for certain. I didn't see all of it yet.

I missed Bon Jovi, but I only like a few of their songs so I wasn't too disappointed that I missed them or anything personally. And Eddie Vedder with Pink Floyd was great as well, I forgot to mention that, hah! Thank you for bringing it up :)
Sorry to hear about the problems your brother causes you, that sounds pretty annoying. My brother can annoy me, as well as the rest of my family, but my brother does not live with me any longer so he only can occasionally annoy me when he visits, haha :p

Ah, great to know that you are a Nirvana fan as well! :) But yes you are most likely right that they only probably had enough time for just the one song. But it really did kind of leave the Nirvana fans hanging/wanting more. But maybe that was their intentions as well, who knows really!
