So Frustrated!

Hi fellow myLotters! How are you? This is just an update about what happened to my team, which I posted earlier. I just wanna share... I feel so sad and down today because we got only the 4th rank out of the 9 teams who joined the tournament. I feel so guilty and frustrated because I wasn't able to save the team for the last time. I was aware, and I was there already and had a big chance to win but I lost it, I just didn't feel myself that time, I don't know, I just wasn't myself during that last match that could have put my team to the 3rd place if I won. Maybe I felt pressure that time and got nervous, I really don't know, right now I still can't think properly about the match. My team mates were telling me that we did good because we were actually dealing with varsity players, which is so much true, so we're still lucky to be in the top 4. Well, I'm not really sure but I guess... you know exactly what I'm trying to say if you ever happened to experience a similar situation I just had. Ooops! I'm not being bitter and I actually accepted our defeat so I'm cool now, I'm we're surely cool. Just sharing :)

I guess you are just pressured by your team. That happened to me too when I represented the school for a Spelling Bee contest. I won the 4th Place out of 35 schools. I was so pressured at the time especially when I saw other students... they all look like geniuses. Lol.

Haha 4 out of 35 is still very good for me. Yeah I think one reason why we lose, particularly my last match, is the pressure. Also knowing that our opponents are varsity players made us nervous already haha

What's with them anyway? Are you not a varsity player? You too, you must be really good tennis player, you got the 4th place!

They're really good, that's it Yep, I'm not a varsity player, though I was once invited to join the varsity team few years back, I had to turn the offer down because I thought it might affect my academics haha I;m just a regular player, not that really good...

Aw..sometimes we are on and sometimes we are off, you'll get them next time in the next tournament. Are these college guys in the tournament? I think you mentioned you were studying to be a physician. Top four though, that's awesome, look at how many teams competed, even out of nine teams, look how many teams didn't even make it to the tournament. That's pretty amazing in my book. Congratulations to you and your team for coming in fourth place.

Haha Thank you Not to be a physician, but to be a Vet... well. hopefully Yeah, all of the players are college students, most of them are varsity players except our team

Yep!Haha I still have 2 more years left, but if I happen to fail any subject, it will mean an additional 1 more year

We are often tougher on ourselves than anyone else ever can be. You can't take the blame for the loss when you were part of a team. We can't win them all but we can certainly learn from the experience. Heads up friend...you'll get them nest time.

It is really frustrating not to be able to reach a certain goal. But hey! Your team mates think that you all did great together. There is always a next time. I am glad that you are all okay now and have accepted your fate.

Hi, Don't be so hard on yourself. "Failure" is a relative term, depending on who is doing the measuring. There is nothing bad or wrong with a game as long as you enjoy what you're doing. Glad to know that you are cool now. Sometimes sharing can make our sadness lessened, as many people share it with us together.

Haha Yeah I'm so cool now I just can't help but thinking how wasted that chance... but I'm okay now, thanks to my team mates who understood and cheered me up!
