Cell phone issues (part II)

As yesterday, I wrote a discussion on a mobile phone that gave problems, and my intention, rather than repair it, concerned mostly about whether to buy for me a new one directly in January when I get the monthly allowance. However, I still wanted to play the "paper" care free warranty. I brought it in for service and they told me that the phone will be sent in assistance next Monday. It could be repaired at no cost. But, nevertheless, it will be returned to me after Christmas (in short I believe, around January 7, 2013, for instance). If this does not go well, then end of everything. I'll buy a new one (maybe no more than HTC brand) and stop!

Hi friend, good to know that your phone will be repaired with free of cost, i think it is still in warranty period, but it takes more time for the delivery. Hope you will get it soon from the expected date

Well, in fact, from what you were able to read my discussion, I have a chance to get it fixed for free, but for the delivery they told me that I will obviously wait until after the Christmas holidays. However, I still expect to January 7.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is absolutely great to hear that u have given your cell phone for repairing and since the repairing will be done free of cost, i hope that u get rid of such issues quickly. It is too difficult to get service free of cost and u should be grateful to that person who is repairing your cell phone and make sure that the repairing is done properly otherwise u have to go for another cell phone. What say?

In fact, since I would still have to wait for the salary of January so I can buy a new phone, I tried the technical assistance of the warranty free of charge. If they can fix it without spending a penny, all right. Otherwise I'll buy a new one.
