earning with PTCs

i stopped clicking PTC adds to earn some time ago realising that it is just a waste of time that can be better used to earn money online with other means. Like writing or reselling at ebay or amazon. PTCs are like a joke, i have yet to come across anyone who can show me that they can make serious money with them despite investing hundreds,returns barely make it worthwhile, i would so love to be proven wrong on this but i think it is highly unlikely that anyone can prove that PTCs are a great way to earn money online. I have never heard of anyone who can make even few hundred bucks a month with PTCs regularly, i just do not understand why they are so popular
