In buying a new house, what would you consider?

I'm planning my future house now, but I don't have any idea how much would it cost me. I want my ideal house to be simple, at least three bedrooms, one living room, dining area and comfort room with walk in closet. The area would be 200 square meters. I'm living with my two kids. If I would choose the design of the house, of course it must be child friendly. When I'm thinking all of these, I stressed myself. That's why I want to ask some advise or opinions coming from you guys. I hope you can give some of your ideas.

planning to buy a house is just like going to the grocery store, you can only plan what to buy according to you budget. and if you have the budget then it wont be hard for you on what to choose. here in my country we usually do not but a house. we build them. there are many materials to choose from and which prices suits our budget. then as years go along we do some improvements depending on our budget which usually comes from our savings. so a small house will sometimes eventually becomes a little bigger as years pass by.

Yeah my parent's house before is small but after we graduated from high school, we can afford to have it renovated. Buying materials of the house is quite expensive, my mother didn't expected that it will cost her two thousand dollars for a 120 square meters house renovation lol. Now her newly renovated house fits everyone in the family.

The foremost thing to consider is your budget. And then you should decide the location that is best for both of you and your kids. It should be near the school of your kids, supermarket, church and the place should be safe to live in.

When I was getting my house, some of the questions I asked myself were. 1) How much is it? 2) What is the size of the unit? 3) The location? 4) Is it convenient? 5) Do I need to do a lot of renovation? 6) What is the space available for future "expansion".
