I have heard from several sources that Homeopathic medicine have successfully treated many autistic children. I personally have never tried this for my 10 year old autistic son. He has been treated with occupational thearapy , speech thearapy and some other forms of sensory integration technique from the age of four. But still now some of his behavioural problems like, sudden screaming , laughing without any apparent reason , hand biting are not subsiding. That day i was going through a topic on Homeopathy and a few parents have given there positive feedback about its positive impact on autism. So ,before going into further details , i decided to discuss this topic on this forum so that i can know if any of my fellow mylotian friend has any personal experience on that. Please let me know if any of you have got a positive result using Homeopathy for autism.

I am not sure if you are still here, but there has been a breakthrough with alternative medicine and autism. (I am an alternative medicine student and learned about this new breakthrough from one of my naturopathic teachers) It is glutathione therapy. Glutathione is a chemical & an antioxidant that we all have, but autistics have a deficiency. They have at least 50% less than other children. They have been giving glutathione to autistic children with surprising results. It has helped them with communication. They are actually talking to their parents and family members, not just repeating key statements. Below is one link about it.
I first heard of glutathione while reading the book, “Healing and Preventing Autism” by Jenny McCarthy and Jerry Kartzinel. Although my son doesn’t have autism, I have found that many treatments th...

@moondebi Do you see an MD or ND. If MD,I hope he/she is open to it. My nephew is severely autistic, but his father will not even look into this. He is never open to any suggestions. I said, at least get his glutathione levels tested. But he probably won't. Good luck to you!

Hi there, i have done a detailed research on homeopathy and i can tell you from my thorough readings that homeopathy does not have an effective cure autism. Homeopathy involves mother tincture in highly diluted forms and serves generic disorders such as indigestions, menopause. migraine. However, for autism i believe that ayuverdic and herbal treatments could be more helpful.

I have an officemate who has an autistic son and she actually sends him to a special school and he has also a therapy in order to improve her sons' speech and attitude problems. And we were so glad upon knowing that her son can already speak few words aside from making jargon conversation of his own self. Wow. A very nice improvement indeed.

Homeopathic treatment takes a lot of time for excellent treatment and so you have to work closely with the doctor.
