New Electric Fan From The Christmas Raffle

Our Christmas party started at 10 o'clock in the morning at our provincial office. Some of our visitors were former employees of our department. The foods are really delicious! We had a program, games and of course the most awaited event is the raffle draw.
I never expected that I will be able to get any prizes considering that I already received the 3rd prize last year which is a rice cooker. To my surprise, my name was called for the 2nd prize winner. I am so happy! I got a new electric fan. I am really lucky and I can't believe it! I don't usually win any raffle but this year and last year, I was so lucky to get the prizes.

I don't remember being lucky in any raffle draws yet but my name does get picked up a lot during random names class recitations.

Congratulations! I am quite envious, an electric fan would be a wonderful prize too me, especially during the Summer as I hate the heat. When I was 16 I went to a Summer fete and won a big hamper full of fruit, I also won a big box of chocolates which I gave to my mum. I won a stuffed sheep too, I called her Lucy, but I gave her to charity. I was much luckier when I was younger, now I hardly win a thing, I guess lady luck has already smiled on me and is off to smile on other people. Enjoy your fan dear friend!

The last time I won was 3 years ago I guess.

I didn't expect it too. I won already last year's raffle, so I am not expecting for my name to be called. Well, this is just plain luck. I don't even so serious in filling up raffle tickets given by malls because of this thinking that I am not lucky. Perhaps I should try it now, maybe there is an extension of my luck on other matters.

Oh that's nice.
I am not lucky in the raffle but still hoping that I could get something great this time.We do have 6 electric fans for raffle as of the moment so I guess i have a big chance to get one since one of our electric fan at home is quite too old now and always need repair.

I haven't been that lucky in raffles and such. One time, when I was working as an office clerk, I won a small TV. I hadn't even put my name in the raffle. Someone else included my name. So, I was really surprised. I put that TV on my kitchen counter and would watch the news while I cooked dinner. My family and I took that TV with us on camping trips. Glad you have been so lucky. I am not expecting it either. I was not that lucky in any raffle draws. I remember when we were having our general assembly in the cooperative and almost everybody was called for a prize and my name was not. Then after the event I will be looking for the box where the names have been put to look if my name was really there. There it was. But these past two years, I have just been so lucky with everything! Things change, he he.
I'm glad to know that you also won in a raffle. The feeling is just great!

Yeah especially during summer when the weather is really hot. I'll be using it in the living room if we have visitors. I'm so happy!
Well, there were plenty of foods starting in the morning. Pasta, salad, meat, I don't know what they call that, baby back ribs, fried foods and fruits.
This is one of the happiest party ever attended.
